Job Description

Nigerian Breweries Plc is seeking dedicated Production Operators to join our dynamic team in Port Harcourt. Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production machinery and equipment efficiently and safely, following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform routine quality checks on products at various stages of the production process, ensuring adherence to strict quality specifications.
  • Conduct minor preventative maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
  • Accurately record production data, including output, downtime, and quality control parameters.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production targets and resolve operational challenges.
  • Identify and report any equipment malfunctions, safety hazards, or quality deviations promptly.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and training programs to enhance operational efficiency and personal development.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of an Ordinary National Diploma (OND) or its equivalent in Engineering or related technical field.
  • Proven experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in FMCG.
  • Strong mechanical and technical aptitude with the ability to operate complex machinery.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, fast-paced production setting.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Basic computer literacy for data entry and record-keeping.
  • Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in the beverage or food industry.
