Our client, a progressive and expanding agricultural enterprise, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Farm Operations Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of their crop cultivation operations in Gurugram, Haryana, IN . This role is integral to maximizing crop yields, ensuring efficient resource management, and promoting sustainable farming practices. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of modern agricultural techniques, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for innovation in the agricultural sector.

Key Responsibilities:
Planning, organizing, and supervising daily farming activities, including planting, irrigation, fertilization, pest and disease management, and harvesting. Developing and implementing crop management strategies to optimize yield and quality. Managing and maintaining farm equipment, machinery, and infrastructure. Overseeing the procurement of seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other essential farm supplies. Managing a team of farm workers, providing training, guidance, and supervision. Monitoring soil health, water usage, and environmental impact, implementing sustainable practices. Ensuring compliance with all agricultural regulations, safety standards, and company policies. Maintaining detailed records of farm operations, including crop performance, input costs, and labor utilization. Budgeting for operational expenses and managing farm finances effectively. Coordinating with agronomists, researchers, and external consultants for technical advice and support. Implementing and overseeing modern farming technologies, such as precision agriculture techniques. Ensuring efficient harvesting, storage, and post-harvest handling of crops. Required Qualifications and Experience:
A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in farm management, with a strong focus on crop production. Proven expertise in managing various crop types and understanding their specific needs. Extensive knowledge of modern agricultural techniques, soil science, pest management, and irrigation systems. Demonstrated leadership and team management skills. Experience with farm equipment operation and maintenance. Strong understanding of agricultural economics and financial management. Proficiency in using farm management software and technologies. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational abilities.
