*Summary*

The Cashier is the face of Yara, responsible for ensuring an efficient, accurate, and friendly checkout experience. You will act as a brand ambassador by providing exceptional service that aligns with our brand's welcoming and professional atmosphere.

*Key Responsibilities*

  • Manage all customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system, including processing cash, credit, and digital payments.

  • Greet customers warmly, answer basic product or promotion questions, and assist with general inquiries to enhance customer satisfaction.

  • Process returns, refunds, and exchanges following all store policies.

  • Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of each shift, promptly reporting any discrepancies.

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and inviting checkout area.

  • Carry out simple nails application on customers upon their request.

  • Create on-demand marketing content when in-store sales are slow.

  • Assist with other retail duties, such as but not limited to; bagging purchases, restocking merchandise, and monitoring product displays near the counter.

*Qualifications & Skills*

  • Proven experience as a Retail Cashier or in a customer service role is preferred.

  • Strong numerical and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills to calmly handle customer complaints and questions.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.

Salary: NGN100,000
