Auto Electrician / Supervisor – Nigeria

Overview

An Auto-Electrical Supervisor is required in Nigeria by a leading International main contractor to lead a team of specialist auto-electrical technicians.

Our Client 

Ping International Recruitment are working with a leading International business who have an outstanding reputation throughout Africa and Europe for delivering large scale civil, building and oil and gas projects. They employ over 3,000 people in Africa and have a large project order book and outstanding links to local governments and private projects.

The Role

The position will report into the Workshop Director and below are some examples of duties required:

  • Supervising a team of electricians, maintaining / installing / troubleshooting of multiple electrical equipment, power generation and distribution systems, and control and instrumentation systems manage and resolve conflict in the team.
  • Facilitates disciplinary hearings.
  • Provide Training to staff on new technologies, tools, and best practices.
  • Makes crucial decisions in respect of electrical systems to ensure the safety and quality of all installations. Collaboration with other department such as the mechanical engineering or quality assurance for integration of electrical systems.

The ideal candidate

– Experienced specialist auto-electrical background
– Stable employment history
– Experience with fixed plant and mobile plant
– Experience working overseas, ideally Africa
– Happy to work away for long periods

The salary / package

The position is paying a NET annual salary and package of around 70,000 Euros plus housing, transport, flights and insurances
